Survival guide list prepared in March 2020

    I came across my survival guide list that I have prepared in March, this year. 
It is prepared in view of the CoVID-19 situation. 
    Have a look at it. It could be helpful for now or future events too.

Uses of our mobile phones today


    I took a look at the phones we had previously, versus what we have now..... 
From 1G, 1.5G till the 5G phones today.... we can use our mobile phones for so many things. 
Also, check out the hardwares of our phones. They are probably 100 times better than my first desktop, which is a 286 PC, the era before the Intel (R) Pentiums. 😁
I prefer to put them in graphic form, so that it can enhance our imagination as well.... instead of putting lots of words.

相思豆

相思豆的感想 - 前段
豆的颜色鲜红,外壳特别硬。
在地上捡了十几颗,是应该轻轻地握在手里? 还是紧紧的掐在掌心?
这情况,就好像我们平时,面对很多选择的时候;很难选。
好机会,可遇不可求。但太多的机会,是否掺杂了一些不好的?
好或不好,是我本身的观点。

相思豆的感想 - 中段
太少你所想要的相思豆了。
当你有能力拿到手时,有没有停下来想一想,这些相思豆是你想要的吗?还是因为人人都有,所以你也要有?
手握相思豆,想一想当初所附出的努力和牺牲,值得或不值得, 只有自己知道。
有没有想过,要从今以后就把它握在手?还是把它收在口袋,空出手来再出找更多的相思豆?
又或者,是时候找找别的东西呢?
选择权在于我。

手握这鲜红美丽的相思豆,会不会是我现在的一个负担?
得到它,和当初的努力和奋斗是不是相比?
我,有必要再苦苦掐下去吗?可不可以告诉自己,是时候该放手了?
有时候,放手也不代表认输!
放手,或者把相思豆交给另一个更合适的人,可能明天会更好的。

As a coach, 3 simple but basic note.

I was once taught of 3 things as learning to grow in the corporate world.
These 3 things are actually "ARE".
What do they stand for?
A: Appreciate
R: Respect
E: Encourage


Appreciate 
We will need to learn how to appreciate others, for:
- the companionship
- the sincere friendship
- the partnership
- the talents they possess
- the knowledge sharing
- the feedback they give
- the time spent
- the efforts they put in for some work
- the thoughts they had
- the sharing
Appreciation of a person, a situation, a scenario, etc.... brings us a long way. 
So, let's give thanks!


Respect
We respect everyone equally. 
We do not merely respect a person because of:
- the financial status
- the social status
- the knowledge they possess
- the partnership we have
- the relationship we have
But we respect a person, merely because we respect them as a person & a human being. 
Key point is: If we expect respect from someone, please respect someone first. If we take the first step, we are in a much pleasant position. 
If we do not respect a person, the universe will somehow send the signal to that person ultimately. And we will not be respected in one way or another as well. 


Encourage
Along the way, we will meet people that needs our encouragement. Either to get the person out of an awkward situation, or to lift the person to another level, or to get the person to grow, etc.....
With the right encouragement, a person can go very far. 
Negatively, if we discourage a person, he/she will be usually pushed back. And this is not a good act. 
Think of it this way, Many years back, we were in that position where we need encouragement from others too.

a. Need of Certainty.
b. Need of Uncertainty.
c. Need of Significance.
d. Need of Connection & Love.
e. Need of Growth.
f. Need of Contribution.

Our philosophy/skills:
- to be a team player. This is the most important thing as human being.

What is my concept of Continuous Enhancement?

I define continuous enhancement as continuous changes and improvement in any field that you think is valuable. In short, adding values to yourself in any amount, in each day.



I have been exposed in so many fields, and I am still continuously enhancing myself each day.



Here, I will share with you what I know so that we can continue to be enhanced.

A wise man told me once, "if you share what you learn with someone, you will know more of the topic that you share."

And I know it is true. Throughout my years of coaching, teaching, sharing, learning & exchanging of information, I have learnt more each day.

My next topic (in a day or two's time) will be my all time favourite, ie mind mapping. I will gather a few real life examples that I have done and share with you how that is being done.

At first....

This is another of my blog to share with you the skills I know.




Once, my ex-supervisor told me....


"If you learn a new thing each day,

you will learn 365 new things each year.

How far are you compare to others that did not learn?"




He also askedme to write down in a note book the things that I have learnt each night. This way, I can review them whenever I like it.




With the continuous learning attitude, I went on an interesting journey to gather information & knowledge.
